Why I think Students
should be able to wear what they want in school…
Students should be able to
wear what they want in school because it allows them to be there self and be different.
When everybody is wearing the same kind of cloths all the time it gets old and
boring. I think that if you got to at least wear jeans and a nice shirt like a
shirt from American eagle or something like that than you would be able to mix
it up and be different. I would be happy if we got a dress down at least once a
week, which would give us a chance to wear something different and fresh. Here
at my school we have a strict dress code were the boys have to wear a polo and
khaki pants that are brown, black, or grey. And on chapel day which is Friday we
have to wear a button down with khaki pants.
Last year we had dress down
on Mondays and it was good to be able to wear something different and just be
more ourselves. But this year for some reason we don’t have a dress down at all
and maybe it’s because we had a lot of problems with people not wearing that
right things and abusing the privilege of having a dress down. This really
sucks that they wouldn’t give us a chance to have a dress down this year. I think
we would do ok with it, I mean it’s not like we’re going to come in looking
like thugs. We all need a break of the same old cloths, it would do us a big
favor if we could have one day to wear different cloths and just be
comfortable. So please let us have a dress down soon!!
